If there is an immediate danger to life, please dial 999 or go to your nearest Accident and Emergency Department.

If you or someone you know needs help in a mental health crisis, call our crisis teams.

Call 0800 169 0398.

And choose one of the following options depending on your location:

  • Option 1 for Stroud and Cotswolds

Please note: telephone calls may be recorded. If you do not want that to happen, please tell the person who answers your call and they will phone you back on a ‘non-recordable’ telephone.

The number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Occasionally, callers may be asked to leave their name and number on an answerphone. In these circumstances, staff will return the call within one hour.

We employ around 2,300 people across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, including occupational therapists, social workers, physiotherapists, health care assistants and people in non-clinical roles such as administration, IT, finance and human resources.

All of our vacancies are advertised on the NHS jobs website at www.jobs.nhs.uk. We publish a role description and person specification with our adverts, and these outline what the job involves and also the qualifications, experience and skills we are looking for. If you decide to apply, you should write your application so that you demonstrate you have the ‘essential criteria’ and provide evidence to support this.

We’re very keen to recruit into clinical roles at the moment – particularly mental health nurses, including a number of new and exciting opportunities within our Mental Health Acute Response Service (MHARS).

We also operate a Staff Bank, which supplies temporary staff to our departments, teams and services when the need arises. When you register with the Staff Bank, work is allocated on an ad-hoc basis, however this enables you to work in a flexible manner, where you can choose the shift you wish to work.

You can find out more about working for the Trust, and read more about the types of roles we advertise, by visiting our recruitment website at www.2gethernhs.co.uk . We also have social media accounts at www.facebook.com/2gethernhs and www.twitter.com/@2getherTrust.

If you have any questions, ring our recruitment team on 01452 894664.
