West Cheltenham Pregnancy Support

If you live in West Cheltenham and are expecting a baby you can meet your midwifery, heath visiting and children’s centre teams at Hester’s Way Children’s Centre.

Drop by for a cuppa and a chat with your maternity team. You and your partner are welcome, and you can visit any time from 28 weeks of pregnancy.

Sessions are held on the first four Tuesdays of each month from 3.30pm to 5pm. No need to book.

Each of the four sessions has a theme:

  • Week 1 – Giving Birth
  • Week 2 – Feeding Your Baby (what to expect in the early days)
  • Week 3 – Getting to Know your baby
  • Week 4 – Life as a new family

These sessions are being run in a partnership between the NHS and the Aspire Foundation.

To mark Remembrance Day (11 November), Great Western Railway organised its annual Poppies to Paddington initiative, which transports wreaths from towns and cities across its network to be laid at the war memorial on Platform 1 at Paddington Station, London.
