West Cheltenham Pregnancy Support

If you live in West Cheltenham and are expecting a baby you can meet your midwifery, heath visiting and children’s centre teams at Hester’s Way Children’s Centre.

Drop by for a cuppa and a chat with your maternity team. You and your partner are welcome, and you can visit any time from 28 weeks of pregnancy.

Sessions are held on the first four Tuesdays of each month from 2.30pm to 4pm. No need to book.

Each of the four sessions has a theme:

  • Week 1 – What your children’s centre and local area has to offer
  • Week 2 – Giving birth – your questions answered
  • Week 3 – Feeding your baby and the early days and what to expect
  • Week 4 – Getting to know your baby in pregnancy and beyond

To coincide with this year’s 16 Days of Activism (25 November – 10 December), Hope House SARC (Sexual Assault Referral Centre) and GDASS (Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service) has launched a new joint campaign called Fair Play.

Sunday 1 December is #WorldAIDSDay – a global campaign by the National AIDS Trust which has been recognised every year since 1988. Every 1st December communities come together to support and secure the rights of those living with HIV, remember those who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illness, and continue the fight to end the stigma surrounding HIV.
