Paul Jennings, Chief Executive at the Trust, said: “This is an opportunity for us to be positive about our services and showcase the quality of care provided across the county.
“I am proud of the work we do each day and the dedication and professionalism shown by my colleagues across the Trust, and I look forward to them receiving the recognition their work deserves.”
CQC inspectors will rate the Trust in categories of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Each of these categories is rated as outstanding, good, needs improvement or inadequate. The Trust is also given an overall rating.
The commission inspects all NHS Trusts and will have visited every trust in the country by the end of 2015. Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust hosted inspectors in March.
