Digital Therapy Now Available Through Let’s Talk

If you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, depression or similar issues, there’s now a new way of getting support through digital therapies on the NHS.

Let’s Talk is the local psychological therapies service provided free to anyone aged over 18 and registered with a Herefordshire or Gloucestershire GP.

The service has always offered support in person, through courses and over the telephone. Now, you can also choose to use an online service called Silver Cloud, which can be accessed from mobile devices, laptops or computers wherever you are and whenever it suits you.

“One in four of us is experiencing a mental health issue at any given time,” said Alex Burrage, Clinical Lead for Let’s Talk.

“Sometimes we are reluctant to speak out and seek help, but we know that the earlier you get support, the quicker you can start to feel like yourself again.

“There really is nothing to feel embarrassed about – the help is available and with Silver Cloud it’s more accessible than ever for those of us who are short of time or prefer to get support in the comfort of our own home.”

You can find out more about Let’s Talk and refer yourself for support by visiting www.talkghc.nhs.uk or ringing 0800 073 2200.
