Community Mental Health Survey 2024

We want to know what mental health care is like for young people.

You may be sent a letter inviting you to take part in this important survey. This is because you have used community mental health services during April and May 2024. Survey invitations will be sent out in August and September 2024.

If you are invited to take part, your name, phone number, and postal address will be used by researchers to carry out the survey. Your information will not be shared with anyone else, and all published data is anonymised.

If you do not want to take part or you have any questions, please call us on 0300 421 8100 or email experience@ghc.nhs.uk.

Taking part is voluntary and all answers are confidential. If you do not want to take part, it will not affect the care you receive from the NHS. If you do not want to take part please contact us by the end of June using the contact information above.

The survey is being carried out by researchers from this NHS Trust, the Care Quality Commission and the Survey Coordination centre at Picker.

The results will be published on CQC’s website in spring 2025.

Your personal data will be held securely and will be treated in strict confidence in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Your personal data is not used for any other purpose and is deleted once the survey process is complete. Your answers to the survey are not linked to your name or full address, but researchers analysing the results will use your postcode to undertake geographical analysis of overall results.

To coincide with this year’s 16 Days of Activism (25 November – 10 December), Hope House SARC (Sexual Assault Referral Centre) and GDASS (Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service) has launched a new joint campaign called Fair Play.

Sunday 1 December is #WorldAIDSDay – a global campaign by the National AIDS Trust which has been recognised every year since 1988. Every 1st December communities come together to support and secure the rights of those living with HIV, remember those who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illness, and continue the fight to end the stigma surrounding HIV.
