Better Care Together Awards 2025

April 9, 2025

Our Better Care Together awards were held at Hatherley Manor Hotel, near Gloucester, today (Weds 9 April).

More than 130 colleagues gathered to celebrate the occasion, which followed a record number of nominations – 238 in total!

Trust Chair, Graham Russell, who hosted alongside Chief Executive Officer, Douglas Blair, said it was a privilege to be able to celebrate not only everyone who attended but everyone who was nominated. He added: “The real winners are the people of Gloucestershire, who benefit from your hard work and dedication every day so it’s fantastic to have an opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone.”

Due to the large number of nominations across the eight categories, some categories had a number of entries which received Special Recognition. There were then three or four shortlisted in each category, with some teams/colleagues being Highly Commended and then the outright winners.
