The categories

All categories are open to nominations from and for GHC colleagues, volunteers, experts by experience, patients and service users.

The Working Together Award
For the team or group of people who best demonstrate our value of Working Together to achieve the best outcomes for our communities.

The Always Improving Award
For the team, individual or group of colleagues who have introduced new ways of working, either through Quality Improvement methodology or in other ways, to enhance the services we provide.

The Respectful and Kind Award
For the person or group of people who demonstrate the greatest levels of kindness and respect for others.

The Making a Difference Award
For the person or group of people who are making a big difference to the Trust, or the services we provide.

Outstanding Achievement Award
For the person who has dedicated themselves to the NHS, and made a significant difference to services and/or the lives of the people we serve.

Rising Star Award
For the person who has contributed to the NHS for less than three years, but is already making a significant difference to services and/or the lives of the people we serve.

The Tackling Inequalities Award
For the person or group who help tackle inequalities which are preventing people – whether that is our own colleagues or the people we serve – from accessing opportunities. This might be access to healthcare services and treatments, access to economic opportunities, access to development or promotion or access to anything that other people take for granted.

The Sustainability Award
For the person or group of people who have significantly contributed towards improving sustainability. This could be environment sustainability, financial sustainability or anything else which helps the Trust or more sustainable.
